Brendon, who previously taught lessons at Weed Music, is back! After teaching in Vancouver for a number of years, Brendon will be teaching guitar (all levels), beginning bass, and beginning drums in all styles.
Paul is a GMCC graduate who is returning for his 2nd year of teaching at Weed Music. Paul also teaches guitar & bass (all levels), and beginning drums in all styles.
Christiana has teaching credentials from Europe. She begins her 4th year teaching all levels of classical guitar at Weed Music. She is also fluent in English and German.
Melissa is a 3rd year U of A student. A former piano student of Janelle Weed for many years, Melissa teaches beginner - Gr 5 RC piano, pop & jazz styles.
Laura has been teaching for three decades and has her BME degree and an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Laura teaches beginner to Gr 8 RC piano, beginner to intermediate violin, & beginner to intermediate singing at Weed Music.
Beginning August 2, 2011 at 2 pm, new students (ages 7 to adult) can register for music lessons at Weed Music, Ltd, 125 McLeod Avenue in Spruce Grove, AB.

HONENS PIANO MASTERCLASSES
On Saturday, May 7, 2011, Katherine Chi will present four piano masterclass sessions to area students at Stony Plain United Church in Stony Plain, Alberta. Katherine is the only woman and the only Canadian to win the Honens International Piano Competition (2000).
Session 1 begins at 9 am, Session 2 begins at 10:30 am, Session 3 begins at 1 pm, and Session 4 begins at 2:45 pm and runs until approximately 4:15 pm. The masterclass sessions are open to the public.
On Friday, May 6, 2011, pianist Katherine Chi will present three school concerts at Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain, Alberta. Katherine is the only Canadian and the only woman to win the Honens International Piano Competition (2000).
Katherine will delight students by playing a variety of pieces on a 12 foot Steinway grand piano in the music room at Memorial Composite High School. The seating capacity is 100 people per concert, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
There is an early morning concert just for Memorial students, a second concert at 10:30 am for area students in Grades 7-12, and a third concert at 12:30 pm for area students in Grades 1-6.
